I really am curious to know if Hatton can be tought to be better at this stage in his career. As much as I hate to admitt it, Mayweather Sr. is a very good trainer even though he can barely speak coherently. Maybe he can give Hatton some defense and positioning advice and make Hatton even better at what he does well already. It may be time for a posotive change. All respect to Billy Graham though.

In my opinion both Billy and Ricky are too long in the tooth.
Ricky is on the slide and he has shown this since his fights pre-Kostya.
Kostya was the last time you saw the relentless workrate and serious bodywork from Hatton.
No trainer in the world can help you beat father time especially with the lifestyle Ricky chose along the way.
Billy smoking 20-40 a day aint the best example either.
THey were a great team and In my mind overachieved so full marks to them both.
I see Ricky cashing in on 2-3 more fights in which time I fear he will suffer another defeat.
        Unless he fights complete stiffs.

Neither of them have anything to be unhappy about with the amount of $ they have earned or how far they got.

yeah I was kinda thinking Freddie Roach as well

then again if Pac Man goes through with the DLH fight, wouldn't that rule out a Pac-Hatton clash? (at least for 2008 i mean)

I wonder if DLH has anything to do with it?

It was inevitable, that this was going to happen.

Hatton as over achieved by far with Graham in his corner, Graham is not a world class trainer - Hatton as had to admit to reality that he needs to introduce new techniques/skill sets into his arsenal for him to maintain at the top level, unfortunately graham does not have the ability to pass this onto him. Hatton & Graham have (I believe) a solid friendship and that is the only thing that has kept them together this long.

BUT the question is; Can you teach a old dog new tricks????

You can improve on the things that he already knows i guess
and you can come up with better gameplans for sure..
I have never rated Graham at all..
Besides ricky who else does he have?

Hatton does what he does - he doesn't need to improve on the things he already does, he needs to improve on the things he doesn't do or has stopped doing for example; start moving his head more and create angles rather than sit right in front of his opponent without any due care!!
