People seem to forget that Cotto was winning the 1st half of the fight and possibly a couple rounds there after. But being Cotto took a knee they automatically assume Cotto's career is in shambles and he'll never be the same again. Where does this logic come from? He took a loss and he'll be back. He would've killed any other Welterweight with his performance against Margarito.

This fight clearly pointed out the haters from the people who actually watched the fight. Anybody who says Margarito obliterated Cotto for 11 rounds simply are just on here to poke fun.

I don't know if it's going to happen with Cotto but he might not be the same. I have said it a bunch of times on here, I think this fight was very reminiscent of Chavez vs Taylor.

Taylor was winning the fight but Chavez was inflicting all the damage. Taylor was never the same, even losing in the rematch in 4 rounds I believe.

Now Taylor can't even talk right, sad but true. Cotto took a beating physically and I think he also took one mentally. I don't know if he will be the same in his mind when it comes to a rematch with Margarito.
