Plenty of boxers have been ruined by boxing matches, but its an accumulation of fights over time that ruin boxers. Only time will tell obviously, but this is Cotto's first real ass beating, I doubt it will affect him adversely.

Tarver against drugs and many other losses not brutal but in his age any losses could give him a set back
