I wouldnt put him on the shortlist(if thats like top 10) but I would move him way up maybe top 20. I still think floyd has to beat the champ at 147 and maybe cotto or williams. Maybe beat a pacquaio too. If he did that he would be top 10.

Floyd already beat the champ at 147. When he Baldomir he beat the REAL champ at 147. Then he beat Judah who held that title right before Baldomir had it. Why? Cotto doesn't have the footwork to get away. Margarito is a fast paced hard hitting fighter that is something I think Mayweather would have a harder time with IMO. Margarito's ridiculous output whether he hits you on the hand arms head or shoulder would at least mark up Floyd some where. Cotto would get inside and land nothing on him because he isn't the type to let his hands go when he can't hit a target, he preaches efficiency which isn't bad, just I would like to see Mayweather fight someone like that. Castillo had some luck. Also Margarito's chin, I think Mayweather could hurt Cotto but not necessarily KO him. Every boxer who gets in the ring with Mayweather gets out boxed. A high output fighter with no care for wasting punches will hit Mayweather at some point.
