-he has looked very boring in his last 2 wins.

-he beat tarver who isnt that good of a fighter and wright 16 pounds above his best weight.

-his overall resume is not that great either.

hopkins dont belong anywhere near the p4p list.
    ***arito lost 5

    Tarver is better than Margarito

His resume is better than Margarito

Why the hell have you been in this country your whole life and not learned the difference between "their" "there" and "they're"?

Calzaghe won almost every round except for the first, it should have been a UD for Joe.

Hopkins shouldn't be in the top 10 p4p anymore, and hopefully won't be after Pavlik knocks him out.

not to mention his style is all about cheating
and he wont score a knockout ever again his whole style is based on hoping for the judges to give him a gift decision

lol, he hasn't exactly been the most appealing to watch his last two fights no doubt but come on man, you gotta admit this aint true. Comments like this take away the fact he's a truly skilled fighter that even at 43 can hang with the best of them. He gave Calzaghe all he can handle, that should say somethin about him.

Good point - without his dirty tactics, Hopkins likely would have been a journeyman.

He was high on the list before he lost and the fighter that he lost to is number 2 pound for pound. If he lost to a fighter that wasn't on the list at all, then he would have been bumped off of it. Calzaghe is one of the best fighters pound for pound so Hopkins was only bumped back a few spots. Tarver and Wright both were on the pound for pound list at the time Hopkins beat them so it wouldn't be fair to just knock him off beucase he loss to a fighter that is so high up there on the list.
