    No.

He's the most overrated fighter of our generation. It annoys me when some people make him out to be an ATG, when he avoided the best fighters in his division.

The great fighters were always willing to fight the best opponents.

When Arum offered Mayweather the chance to fight Cotto, he cowardly declined.

In the ring, like a true champion, Margarito fearlessly keeps coming forward, hardly taking a backwards step.

In the ring, "Chicken" Floyd runs from his opponents like a frightened little girl.
floyd gave castillo an immediate rematch after castillo gave him a tough fight and clearly outclassed castillo in the 2nd fight.

margarito didn't take an immediate rematch with paul williams after getting outhustled and continues to show now interest in avenging his defeat at the feet of paul williams or getting back his beloved wbo belt.

I think it's clear who is the better champion.

Margarita if he duplicates his performance against Diaz when he first won the belt & his performance against Cotto, would stuff Oscar and rearrange his face & I think he would even beat PBF. But PBF is speedy he's the only one who might be able to outpoint Tony. Even then my money's on Tony a real policeman in the ring.

Floyd is the only welter who would have a chance vs. Tony, but it would only be a small chance.

I don’t think punches against Tony should count as effective...never saw him hurt he’s made of stone. I expect Margarito's brain simply interprets pain differently than most other humans. When the ring announcer says "Let's get ready to Rumble" if Margarito is fighting he can really say it with conviction!

if you know anything about picasso, you know he could paint your entire family in a perfect still life portrait by the age of 12, he did that abstract style because he wanted to, not because he couldnt do anything else, picasso was a master classical artist by the time he was 13, his stuff at age 9 and 10 is just stunning.

                      1. Margarito had to be forced to fight Paul Williams. What a warrior.

                      2. Margarito made up three million excuses when he clearly lost to Paul and whine and bitched and complained. Yeah, stand up guy.

                      3. He may keep coming forward, but he has no skill. So that balances out.

                      4. Margarito doesn't fight people his own size. Weight cutting = what a warrior.
