Cotto's offense vs Margarito >>>>> Floyd offense vs Baldomir.

    Floyd - 199 / 458
    Cotto - 280 / 655

Did Floyd even attempt to throw 1 combo in his fight with Baldomir? Floyd didnt even attempt to throw a combo against Hatton until the last rounds when Hatton was already a wounded animal.

And how do you think Hatton became a wounded animal?

If he was a white Mayweather running around they'd have ate his ass up a long time ago or ran him out of town, it's a pride thing.

Mayweather is a champ in theory, in reality he's a scared punk with track shoes in the ring instead of boxing boots. That's why he vacates belts, avoids mandatories, retires, fights older washed up fighters and fights smaller jr welter weights instead of defending his title against legitamit welter weight champs. Then cries like the ***** that he is cause he realizes that the fans know he's scared...reality at it's best.

Cotto took and gave the best he had with Margo, that's something we will never see from Mayweather and there's nothing admirable about that period.
And that's something that nomatter how hard they tried, can be denied!!!

if cotto conserved his energy (picked his spots better, potshotted for a few rounds, and had better defense) LIKE FLOYD he would've beaten margarito instead of gassing and eventually taking 2 knees and being saved by his corner.

against granite-chinned foes that keep coming no matter what you throw at them like margarito and baldomir, floyd's performance >>>> cotto's performance.

floyd didn't underestimate his opponent he knew what he was getting into with baldomir where as cotto underestimated margarito and thought he could hurt margarito early (hahahaha) and thought he would have enough in the tank to outbox margarito.

I can agree with that. Pretty fair unbiased post. My only problem is, although Baldomir was a big rugged guy, he was still lightyears apart from Floyd in terms of boxing skills. Floyd should've been able to severely outclass him, and do so in an entertaining way. One, done, potshot, and run is not what the fans wanted to see against such a limited fighter like Baldomir. Floyd would not have gotten so much **** if he actually showed that he wanted to beat/hurt Baldomir, instead of just showing that he was only interested in outpointing him.

Typo? Really? That was your first intelligent response in this thread.

But here is a question for you:

In which fight was Cotto's performance more admirable? Mosley of Marg?

Do you purposefully chose to ignore the fact that in the 5th or 6th round PBF said he hurt his hand in the Baldomir fight or did you just not know that information?
Hurting your hand in a boxing match would effect how you perform. Don't you think?

                      did you see baldomir/forrrest???

forrest is a skilled boxer, punches harder than floyd, and is much physically bigger than floyd, and yet forrest was unable to stop baldomir nor severely outclass him. and yet you expect floyd to do something that forrest couldn't??? c'monmang!!!
