How can Margarito now be in the P4P list??

How can Margarito now be in the P4P list??

When he has a recent loss against a current champion at the exact same weight, when Paul Williams isn't even ranked P4P.

    Doesn't make sense.

if emmanuel augustus fights mayweather and beats him (which it would never happen)
        guess what would happen,
where would you rank him after beating the very best in the world

Margarito Cotto and Hatton shouldn't be on any p4p lists. They couldn't go up one weight class without getting thier ass beat. How is that P4P?

Yes, but theres one guy at the exact same weight, that holds a win over him recently.

How can he be P4P when someone at his same WEIGHT beat him.

This is why the P4P list doesn't really make sense sometimes.

The thread maker makes a very good point, but it's often how you beat an opponent that gets you recognition in the p4p lists.

For example, guys like Floyd and Roy used to make fights so one-sided when they were the P4P #1s.

Then you have Kostya Tszyu, who I think was ranked #3 at the peak of his career.
He didn't fight many good fighters (in their primes), but it was how he beat the fighters he did beat at his weight. He KO'd most of his opponents, unified his division, and dominated it for years.
Some believe other P4P fighters avoided him (Shane Mosley).

Getting back to Williams. Yes he did beat Margarito, but only barely.

I still get where you're coming from with your argument though.

P.S. I think the loss to Quintana has alot to do with **** too.
Credit to him for KOing the ****er in the rematch, though.

The same people that say Cotto is overrated are putting Margarito on their lists. Makes no sense
