When a smaller good fighter calls him out he states "I am right here waiting" then proceeds to mention the hopkins scenario, but not once does he mention the same size or bigger fighters calling him out NOW. Winky Wright pops to mind when I think of fighters that have been calling him out for years and stating they can beat him. I guess the challenges don't seem as tempting when the guy is the same size or bigger. I am a de la hoya fan but if he takes this fight. I will no longer be a fan, ask everyone I know NOT to order this pathetic fight, and ROOT for manny to knock his ass out. You cannot blame manny for going up against a bigger fighter and big payday. Also, that BS about him not wanting to face a mexican opponent for X reasons is lame.....all I have to say is Israel Vasquez and Rafael Marquez got LOTS of props from their epic wars. I'm sure the MEXICANS watching those epic battles only admire and become FANS of both fighters.Comment
