Now when the referee wasn't biased and didn't let hatton cheat he lost.

Hatton isn't in the same level as Mayweather
the ref let Mayweather hit and hold you ******* (as well as throw elbows and duck down) so your point is invalid

another thing that makes me laugh is cortez was the ref for the castillo fight and was fine to go along with hattons style but as soon as hes in with hbos prodical son that goes out the window. also calzaghe hopkins was another prime example off pbf vs hatton been a **** ref job cause hopkins clinching and feigning injurys went unpunnished.
oh well enough off the bitching mayweather would off still won on points aint no way hatton would off got teh decision
hatton would've got a knockout he was all over floyd when the ref got the **** out of the way

Hatton needs a fresh approach to help rediscover performances of old. His recent outings have been stale and his defence was almost non existant in his last fight. Therefore, I think a trainer like Mayweather snr would be a good move. I don't like the idea of him staying with Grahams assistant, I just feels he needs a new approach.

The only way i can see Hatton's defense improving is with Mayweather Sr.
I don't think people like Roach can change Hatton this late in his career.

And btw Mayweather destroyed Hatton he wasn't anywhere near his level.

Dirtier than Harry Greb or Fritzie Zivic? Dirtier than Bernard Hopkins or John Ruiz?

Hatton wasn't allowed to fight his fight and he didn't have a plan B. That would be acceptable if Floyd stopped his plan A but it wasn't Floyd, it was Cortez.

Your completely delusional about a fight you spend your life talking about,it is truely sad.Mayweather is on a whole other level compared to Hatton.Any atribute Hatton has,Mayweather can nutralize it with the far superior skills. If Oscar Delahoya couldn't knock Mayweather out,how do you expect Hatton to?.Oscar even at this stage in his career is a far better fighter than Hatton he has a better jab with more stamina and more power at 154 compared to Hatton at 147.Hatton was knocked out cold while Mayweather was never stunned.Just stop watching this sport as you have no clue about it.

No, I'm saying if the ref allowed in-fighting he would've won. Close contact work is a skill, a ref can't just disallow it and Hatton didn't hold at all in that fight, Floyd did.

In Hopkin Calzaghe, Cortez allowed in-fighting all night, why different for Floyd?

That is just it! Hatton didn't have a plan B Mayweather on the ther hand had plan B C D E.One can adapt the other can only fight one way,an ilegal way.Floyd was clinching Hatton just to get Cortez to break it up as none the fighters could throw any punches. He used Hattons way of fighting to beat him and he prevailed by knocking out Hatton with a hook Ricky could only dream of throwing.OH wait.. he was dreaming in the tenth round.
