So because the fans cheered and applauded every round on Saturday means Cotto didn't run? Yeah, when he was on the ropes he was throwing bombs and and vicious combos but he was retreating and rarely took a step forward.

And you notice some of the Marg fans are saying he ran.

Didnt it happen in his own hometown against Baldomir? I dont remember many people really satisfied with DLH/Mayweather. I dont remember MMA fans gaining much respect for Floyd the way Cotto has.

Its pretty funny that the crowd was predominantly hispanic/mexican which can be very discriminating when it comes to styles yet they were standing and applauding after every single round. Can someone show me when that happened in Baldomir/Mayweather or DLH/Mayweather?

Now Ive never once said Floyd is a runner. But to compare what Cotto did to Floyd just because you got hurt when people called Floyd a runner is just plain ******. Cotto doesnt have the same abilities as Floyd so he was forced to fight more than Floyd needs to. But lets not be ****** about it.
I don't think it was a fight for the ages or that it lived up to the Hype. The only reason it's considered a good battle is because of the upset result. If the only thing that changed was Cotto had a little more stamina and outboxed Margarito for a couple of the last rounds and won a decision it would of been considered a stinker.

I agree but this same people who are making threads and crying about how Cotto didnt "run" even though they invent that word because of Mayweather, are now crying about other people using the word run to associate cotto.

There's a fighter by the name of Andre Direll I believe. May have spelled his last name wrong. He fought on BAD what he was doing was running.

yeah, i saw that. and in the interview he was asked about why the fans were booing and he said something like, "who cares, i won".

you can bet the next fight he didnt do any running.

They mentioned nothing of my creating a new account and using this screen name instead of the other one which has to stay with the new Avi and Sig for 3 months. If you're going to play the game, learn the rules first.
If you're going to discuss boxing, comprehend what you're watching. Unlike Cotto, Mayweather can actually box. He has defense and foot speed, something Cotto lacks. Cotto couldn't handle the slow Margarito, Mayweather would've boxed circles around him. As far as the mma crowd goes, I train full time in mma and am on lots of mma forums, Mayweather is far and away the most respected boxer to the mma community. It's well known he's the best. Cotto is a nobody to a majority of them and to the ones who do know him none would be as ****** as you, and compare Cotto's pathetic boxing skills to the Pound For Pound Picasso. Mayweather would make Cotto look like Gatti.
