you can't trade with Margarito, the cintron fight proved this, he should have known.

I think it is sort of cheap though how big Margarito is in the welterweight division.

I dont think Cotto ever wanted to trade with Margarito. After being constantly chased down round after round, you have to do something. Boxing works if you have some respect from the other boxer and he's a little scared he might get caught. Margarito had ZERO fear afet the 3rd or 4th round, with that Cotto couldnt box enough to keep him off of him. Rematch = repeat

Nothin would change. Cotto would outbox him early but Tony would gain steam and pound him into the ground. Probably earlier too.

I constantly read people writing "Cotto was winning the fight." Are you that dense that you choose to ignore the JUDGE'S SCORECARDS? Tony was up 96-94 on two cards, and 95-95 on the other. I had the fight it a draw at that point but don't ignore the facts.

well it depends on what the judge likes and looks for.....some like aggression and consistently going forward like Marg was doing.

Me on the other hand like effective boxing, moving, combos, crisp sharp punches landed, etc.

Cotto has the ability to win the fight, he needs to fight a perfect fight for 12 rounds though.

He didnt stand there and trade. He ran and supposedly "boxed" all day. There shouldnt even be a rematch. Margs style beats Cotto 99.9% of the time. Cotto gave up. he doesnt deserve a rematch. He should have kept fighting if he wants to fight Margs. Then there is reason for a rematch.
