I think Margarito will get his revenge and beatdown Williams

I favor Williams again. Margarito fought his fight and got beat. If he starts faster I think he could win, but Paul isn't gonna make it easy any way you look at it.

i really don't know. i rewatched williams-margarito last night because i was thinking the same thing. i had it 6-0 williams then 4-2 margarito in the end. what stood out to me was that williams can take a good punch and that he bounced back and won round 12 IMO. you can also count on williams to start out strong.
then i watched paul williams-quintana 2 and noticed a big difference in how he sits on his punches and his jab. he stopped backhanding his jab and got his weight into his right hand. i wish it could have lasted longer so i could see if he had really improved...

watching williams-margarito 1 live was what made me a paul williams fan, but i would have admitted right after the fight that i thought margarito would win the rematch. but after seeing the 1 round against quintana im thinking williams has a chance if he has really improved.

the reason why i like paul williams is because he is a 6'2 welterweight with an 82" reach and great head movement. i noticed this right away and didn't think at that moment he could beat margarito at his best, miguel cotto, or come close to mayweather. but at 25 i figured he'd get better. if he can get his weight on his punches he would be scary and i think he'd be able to beat margarito.

Either guy can win this fight. Some of why Tony started slow last time was cuz Paul wouldn't let him do anything. Once he got goin, he was whompin him but Paul fought back in the 12th and sealed it. Fight kinda went like the Cotto fight except Paul survived the 2nd half and won the UD. I'd go wit Paul by anotha close UD if I had to pick.

Great post. He's sitting on his punches now, I keep telling everybody that. Watch out. He's only going to get better and better, Margarito is who he is.

Williams still has the style to beat Margarito and he showed a better jab against Quintana, it wasn't just a slap anymore. Williams by decision, although I think Margarito will make it harder for him in the early rounds.

Williams had a bad night the first time and still won. Next time he'll win by an even wider margin. Margarito just ain't athletic enough to keep up.
