What Happens When He Rematches Margorito And Wins?

          but IT IS possible....

i think it will be more mental, IF anything...
          I hope he's back. I've always enjoyed him as a fighter/his fights/and he's easy to root for.

            Cotto

He was doing well in the early rounds and winning many of them...but... I think he got "old in one fight." He was clearly mentally and physically beat down. I will eat crow if he returns to the top. That doesn't mean he won't pick some owner of a trinket and beat him. He will NOT stand in with the big boys again!

I don't want to believe this, but only time will tell. Margarito is the only guy I know with such a dangerous workrate, in which he keeps getting stronger in the WW division. I don't see anyone else in the division that could do that to Cotto. I hope he will be back soon & stronger than ever.

                Cotto done? way too premature

can we see Cotto come back first and have a fight or two before we officially label him a shot fighter?

or is that just too much to ask?

no doubt this should effect his psyche, but after seeing him get badly wobbled in past fights, I actually thought Cotto would go down that way, rather then taking knees and having his corner call the fight.

                just my take.

Since you know so much about boxing and no one else does, weren't you noticing the pace was way to fast for Cotto to continue the whole fight after the first couple of rounds. When was the last time you saw Cotto move that much in a fight. You box with little movement at a slow methodical pace, Then try to move around and box on your toes out the gate and that kind of **** happens. But I'm sure you know that and no one knows **** about boxing. Sorry to disgrace you like that.

What are you talking about???? What good does it do you if you fight perfect for six rounds but cant sustain it for 12. WHat did the first 6 rounds do for him??? Nothing just got hurt and hung on. Manny called it all along... He himself said he tried everything...He himself said he couldnt go to the body cause there were no openeings...What do you think is gonna change in the rematch??? try to go to the body and let margarito bust his head up..His stamina was fading IMO in recent fights...I really dont think he has it to go 12 with a brick wall that hits back..He didnt have it in the first fight...And after a war like that certainly not in the second fight....Hes a great fighter I think but its one of those things were Margarito gots his card..

Cotto will be fine.. Vargas was fine after the Tito fight. He just had back problems and also he was taking steroids and obviously he didn't stay healthy while fighting, Drinking and eating like a slob.. Cotto will be fine, He just lost to the bigger and stronger and more determined man.. Plain and simple.
