Beginning of the end for Cotto

I believe the sustained beating Cotto took from Margarito spells the beginning of the end for Cotto. He will never be the same and will bring chants of him being overrated. The beating reminds me of Vargas at the hands of Tito and Taylor being pummeled by Chavez... to name a few. The tops guys in the division are going to pick him apart in his next few fights.

    I don't think so.

This loss will only make him better.

indeed. It's rare that a fighter comes back strong after a beating like that.

Would you happen to be the promoter Tony Holden or in relation to him?

Yeh you cant really sum up what damage the defeat has done if any at all..
I think he will come back fine to be honest..
The interesting thing will be what route does he take..
Is he interested in a rematch at all...

That has to happen sometime, it simply cannot be avoided.

Fernando Vargas took a worse beating in his fight with Trinidad and he turned out to be fine. His problem's was mainly his dicpline and steriods use that damaged his career. Both things Cotto does not do. He will be fine.

I think he'll be fine. Margarito is the only guy in the division that can physically beat him down like that.
