Sure it could happen, but basing a prediction on it seems far fetched.

Tito's defense is not very tight and his chin is not iron (not china either). Margarito throws 100 punches per round. what happens after he has landed 100?
good point......but i'd say Tito was def a better boxer (moving, counter punching, head movement) than Cotto.....and Cotto did it for 11 rounds...almost made it out.

I think if Tito couldnt get him out of there he just would have boxed the rest of the way

Well first thing, Tito was not a great boxer. But he was a good one in his prime. his boxing devolved as he got older, lazier and fell in love with his power.

That being said he was 100,000,000 times the boxer Margie is. So he would and could easily outbox him using his legs staying on the outside. In his prime he was very active and would pause in the middle of the ring, but not lay on the ropes like Cotto did. He also faced pressure fighters before.

That being said I def. do not think that he would have had a plan B if his plan A didn't work. He was a good boxer in terms of the plan A attack but that's it.

I've never seen power like that at lower weights. Ever. It was completely unreal.

              tito had a great chin.

he got knocked down because of balance. he wasn't hurt.

the hopkins knockout was due to being tired and exhausted.

Trinidad-Margarito would've been a hell of a fight. I would have to give it to Tony though. Trinidad never had the best of chins and he had the tendency to get discouraged and frustrated. ex: (De la hoya, Hopkins and Wright.) I think Margarito would've stopped Trinidad earlier then he did Cotto. Cotto is a very well rounded boxer with good head and foot movedment. Trinidad was more one dimensional, and relied more on one punch. I think it would be a hell of a war while it would last, Margarito would be to much for Tito with his workrate and body punching. Margarito by TKO in 9

                      a good one.

he wouldn't be able to hurt tito though.

tito knocks him the **** out too.
