      right on the money.

like i tried to tell all the cotto guys who kept mentioning cotto working the body , for him to work the body he has be inside. being on the inside is where marg wants him.

it was, but he took all the shots like nothing,
it's hard to win when you hit the other guy with your best shot and he smiles

He didnt effectuate his game plan. He started too fast. He was outboxing Margarito at an incredible pace, landing hard shots to the noggin, and he did not appear to find openings in Margarito's defense (or he just never focused on it). Problem is that Margarito has an iron chin, and Cotto should have focused on fighting more like he usually does, and not fighting off of the ropes. The difference was stamina and durability.

Cotto fought the wrong fight. Margarito was the better fighter but it was obvious Cotto's skills were superior. Margarito played his cards right and outlasted Cotto.

Its amazing to see that some of the Margarito fans act as if it was a blow out. Cotto got stopped, but the fight was very close. Many had Cotto ahead 6-4 going into the 11th. Cotto was landing clean 5-6 punch combinations that had Margarito's head snapping left and right.

            **** happens.

Every pig has his day... Margarito knows firsthand, he has had 5 of those days himself.

cotto believes in his power... if he was smart he wouldve just tried to rack up the points with fast shots instead of power shots so he could conserve more energy. also cotto should've gone into potshot mode instead of firing combos.

people keep saying cotto should've gone to the body, but as far as I know, margarito has never stopped coming even when people go to his body.
