Props to Margo and his fans!! Great fight and congratulations but dont get it twisted Cotto was Boxing Margo's ears off til he ran outta gas.Props to Margo for capitalizing on that and not letting Cotto off the hook.Cotto needs to work more on his stamina.Had he went more to his midsection instead of headhunting MARGO and worked on his stamina more in training he would of won .But he didnt bottom line so no escuses but no disrespect to Margo but he was getting waxed and he didnt look all that good either.PWilliams/Margo 2 will happen and PWilliams will win again.Cotto WILL be back after a long layoff ,come back stronger and more intelligent than ever and become a world champuion by early next year and possibly get his revenge against that TJ tornado.But for now i will have to eat "crow"!

It was pretty obvious those body shots were taking their toll as the fight went on, Cotto just got slower and slower until he couldn't move much anymore.

I'm not sure if they should have put medicine up his nose, it could have just made his breathing issues worse.

I noticed the globs of vaseline that they were putting in his nostrils. I imagined that this affected his breathing.

Cotto fought the wrong fight. He fought on the ropes, started at an incredibly fast pace, and never went to the body. He was out of stamina, and Marg caught up to him.

Some people on here do need to admit that the fight was close if not in Cotto's favor. Cotto was landing the cleaner shots and was outboxing Margarito. Cotto ran out of gas, and Margarito was ready to go 20 rounds. I had it 6-4 for Cotto going into the 11th.

I swear, I don't know what fight people were watching. You'd think Margarito woke up in round 7 or something. I saw Cotto bleeding from the nose heavily and cut over his left eye after round TWO. And just because Jim Lampley wasn't talking about it doesn't mean Margarito wasn't landing. He landed thudding shuts ALL NIGHT LONG, not just in the second half of the fight.

margarito was barely landing,shane landed more punches than margarito did margarito just threw alot and i think the compubox had cotto outlanding margarito in almost every round,margarito barely pressured cotto to the ropes cotto would do it him self he would back paddle to the ropes and wait for margarito to come to him which made no sense to me

cotto's downfall came from the outset when he clearly abandoned his patented body attack that until now has characterized his fighting style. he got too caught up on trying to outbox margarito instead of dishing out the same kind of body damage he obviously took himself.
