Best prospect in boxing right now IMO, he has great physical tools, the one big problem with him is his defense, it's hard to say if it has improved because his last fight didn't last long at all.

I'm no expert, but I'd say that Gamboa is one of the most talented boxers to come along for a long time. However, he seems to me to be exactly the type of fighter who lets natural talent compensate for a lack of fundamentals, and unless he alters this then he is not going to make it at the highest level. If he does he will be excellent, but at 26 he needs to get working on this right away.
