Is Margarito gonna try to duck P. Williams again?

He did fight him. But originally, he didn't want to and was getting ready to vacate his WBO title. He even said something like "Who is P. Williams, he doesn't deserve a shot at my belt" acting very Mayweather-like. It was only at the last minute that he changed his mind after public pressure.....and people calling him a hypocrite.

Even now, he doesn't seem to be in any hurry to fight him.

It looks like Delahoya isn't interested and P. Williams just let everybody know that he would knock him out in a rematch.

Is the Tijuana Tornado gonna take the rematch? Perhaps he can turn into Cotto and have Bob Arum be his mouthpeace and turn down the fight for him, so he doesn't get blamed.

Surely Arum is in no hurry to put his now MAIN MAN at 147 against another big threat who isn't under the Top Rank umbrella. I suspect he will try to put him in against Clottey since he is a Top Rank fighter, should he beat Judah.

actually margarito fought paul williams for less money when a cotto fight was on the table at the time, but nice try though. how bout letting the guy have one ****ing day of rest after he just knocked out cotto how bout that? he already fought him once so its kind of hard to call margarito a coward and a ducker isnt it?

This is not true. Margarito tried saying that until WIlliams's promoter upped the money to the point where it was more then what he was going to get Vs Cotto. Against Williams he was gonna get the bigger split of the money whereas Cotto would have gotten the bigger split of the pie had they fought at that time.

I don't remember the specifics but that excuse went out the window. And still, if you read the whole thread, he did take the fight but only AFTER PUBLIC RIDICULE FOR BEING EXACTLY WHAT HE ACCUSED MAYWEATHER OF BEING...A DUCKER.

You didn't address anything specifically that I said. You're not a very good debater and you're starting to bore me.

            Move on time.

Yes they fought as I addressed in my opening post of this thread. There was a larger point being made that you missed or chose to ignore.

Shut up. Williams beat Margarito's ass in sparring, and he beat his ass the first time. Margarito avoided Williams' name again, even after Max brought him up. He's shook and knows he will lose.
