I want to see a rematch, but if Cotto was affected by this mentally I don't see him winning, and a lot of people here know I am a big Cotto fan. If he can condition himself better and train to have the footwork to get him out of trouble, for example the ropes (where he was hurt mainly) he can get the decision. As always I am rooting for him.

Margarito did a good job, he was getting outclassed for 2/3 of the fight and never gave in. Cotto is the more skilled fighter, but the better fighter last night was Margarito. Cotto has the skills to beat Margarito and he clearly showed that.

Margarito did a good job. Cotto made many mistakes. He didnt pace himself, and he fought on the ropes way too often, but he was tagging Margarito with some crazy head-snapping shots.

The one thing Cotto would really need to improve would be his ability to evade punches. After the first few rounds he seemed to lose the ability to do that. I picked him to win the fight on the back of his movement and defensive abilities. It seems I overstated them substantially.

but the one thing though.... cotto is only 27 right now... he's still a kid compared to other fighters like margarito, de la hoya, mosley, mayweather... he's still learning. he will improve a lot and when he makes a comeback against margarito, it's going to be amazing.
