    LOL@ armchair strategists

I'm sitting here reading the most ******ed posts about Cotto. Most of you don't know the first thing about boxing and seem to think this is a movie like Lord of the Rings or something...

Sorry to make a thread about this but I know a lot of people will agree... Just because Cotto lost (as I suspected he would) that does'nt mean he's "shot" or "finished" or "damaged goods" or whatever other rarely appropriate phrase you can dream up after watching legendary nights episodes on Youtube. LOL.

Cotto is fine. He was'nt "ruined", he just got beat. The towell came in at the right time and Cotto will go on in the sport. Personally, I'd like to see a rematch...

Anyway, you all are talking too much **** is what I'm trying to say...

Relax...It's not all that serious. There have been many worse beatdowns than what Cotto got. He's fine.

Aren't all fans of all sports "armchair strategists" at one point or another? Isn't that something that comes with the territory? When your favorite fighter loses you say "I wish he would have went to the body more" or "He should've covered up better".

When your favorite basketball team blows a big win by trying to score a three pointer you say "I wish they would've just settled for a two pointer to force the overtime."

When your favorite gootball team loses a game on an incomplete pass you say "I wish the quarterback would've thrown to (blank) instead.".

It's part of the lure of sports. I suggest you get over it.

And furthermore, just to clarify, people have a right to interject opinion on a public message board.

And as far as Cotto's condition goes, I don't think it's out of line to wonder if he'll bounce back from the beating. Especially in this sport when we've seen the outcomes of the Jeff Lacy's, the Ricky Hatton's, the Meldrick Taylor's and the Fernando Vargas' of the world.

Like it or not sometimes a fighter gets beaten up so badly it's impossible to rebound. And very often those beatings look similar to the one we saw last night.

                    Fine. I don't disagree.

There is a difference between saying "I wish Cotto went to the body more" and saying "OMG LOL COTTO IS FINISHED!!"

People are just talking **** as usual.

obviously, there's nothing for me to get over. I picked Margarito. I'm not angry or bitter in any way. It's the baseless nonsense that gets to me. How is Cotto shot? He's fine!
