Cotto is a hard puncher, and Margarito took a lot of shots in order to land his own. Floyd doesn't do things that way.

Mayweather would probably beat Cotto, but as his fighting style is very different to TM's, I don't think it'd be a similar fight.

Also, Cotto wouldn't have that same strategy vs Mayweather that he had for last nights fight.

Mayweather is not Margarito when it comes to pressure, Margarito is a big welterweight and it took him 11 rounds to take cotto out. if mayweather tried to pressure cotto he would be not using his advantages over Cotto. he would be fighting the wrong fight and that would increase cottos chances on landing more on mayweather and winning the fight. he would be far better off boxing cotto at a distance using his movement, defense and accuracy than in close range.

Margarito's basically just like Baldomir, and that shows how much better Floyd is than Cotto. Cotto got destroyed by his Baldomir, but Floyd beat his by shutout. Proves Cotto is on the same level as Judah. He probably would have lost to Zab if he hadn't cheated.
