Cotto was doing what Floyd does. I wouldn't call it running tho. And honestly Cotto was trading more than Floyd would have. I'm sure if Cotto kept boxing and moving instead of trading he would not have been TKOed...and the Margarito fans would be on here claiming he was a coward, runner, etc.

I wouldnt call it running. cotto was fighting the only way he had hope to beat margarito. he couldnt hurt him so he had to stick and move. but the pressure was too much for him. big respect for keeping it up until round 11 though.

What I am saying is that hey are different fighters (FMJ and Cotto). FMJ does what works for him, it just happens to be uneventful, and boring (hence people claiming that he rides his bike).

My point is that Cotto may have used the ring, but in a much different way than FMJ, he was actually active.

That said, Cotto probably should have been more economical against Margarito in the early rounds.
