He just quit cos he cba finishing the fight. He was exhausted and had no stamina. Quito wasn't taking that clear punches Margarito just had the better chin.

By the time the fight ended he was barely blocking out the punches. Which is why he stopped he wouldn't have been able to punch any more.

Are you a professional boxer? How else can you say you know how hard Quito and Margarito hit?

You don't have to be a pro boxer to realise that people who box punch hard, sparring is enough. Boxers are trained to put full weight in their punches and diet and work out to achieve maximum power.

A generic fight can have its consequences if it is not stopped at the right time. As I said pro boxers hit really hard, when you become unable to defend against their offence and are just left open it's time for the fight to end. Cotto was no longer able to defend himself he would have taken heavy punches clean which would have a great threat to his health and well being.

The ref should have stopped the fight as that is what they are there for.
