I don't think people here realise how hard boxers punch. Much of the reason why people can deal with it is they are able to defend themselves, Cotto wasn't able to defend himself, taking a punch clean and I mean clean at that level is not healthy, taking combos from a beast like Margarito whilst your legs have gone meaning less of the force is absorbed can be career threatening and deadly.
