Stevie Wonder saw that he quit...he bowed down to another man while backing up and Marg hadn't even hit him again yet...if that aint quitting then my name ain't V.Webb JR.....Marg STOLE his manhood....but Cotto fought a great fight.

Ok so i wouldnt exactly call it quitting, he was pretty much done since the 9 round. he was just holding up on heart. he knew it was a matter of time, but decided to still make it a fight, which goes and shows u the type of fighter he is. but towards the second ko i think he was looking for his corner or the ref to stop the fight cuz he couldnt take the punishment anymore. physically or mentally. so i wouldnt call it quiting. he was just beaten thats all.

I watched it over again, and Emmanuel Steward said Cotto claimed he was done. Now I know in this case he did in fact quit, but people are truly dissing him on here. It is ridiculous, because they have no idea how Cotto must have felt physically & mentally.

no I feel you 100%, but the fact is, he quit. He bowed before Marg even hit him again. Yes, I know Unc hopped up there, but you could see that he had NO intentions of continuing on. He was OUT-MANNED. I mean, he hit Marg with EVERYTHING...but he just did not stop coming forward!!!!!! My cousin came to the conclusion that Marg is ******ed (or something wrong mentally), that is why he was able to take Cotto's BEST shots flush and continue to track him like he did. Cotto was hurt physically, but when you hit a man like Cotto did and HE KEPT coming forward basically not hurt...he drains you MENTALLY. Marg won in the toughness category which ultimately lead him to victory via TKO.

I think he wouldve clinched his way to the end of the round and probably ran non stop in the 12th maybe exchanging in the end

If His corner didnt throw in the towel.

Yep his will was top notch, I am still happy that if anyone beat Cotto, it was a guy who never got the respect he deserved. Now he has it.
