    The poll is almost even.

A lot of people think Cotto quit.

It's not just some hate perspective.

Cotto didn't quit. He was looking for a reprieve in the midst of Margarito's onslaught. But he didn't quit.

No, anybody voting yes completely undermines the best Welterweight fight in years. Nice.

Quitting would have been telling your corner or the ref that you want to quit in between rounds, or explicitly telling the referee that you want to quit after being dropped during the round.

Cotto got up and took a knee to buy time. Last time I checked that was smart thing to do. Similar to spitting out your mouth piece to buy time.

Cotto quit!!!!! Plain and simple! Its nothing to be ashamed of at all. He had nothing but he had nothing left because he sold out giving his all in the fight. Cotto is a true champion and I'v never seen Margarito look as swollen as he was so I got moneys worth apart from a BS undercard! Cong**** 2 both guys! Now Margie needs to pic on some one his own size and see if he can take that type of attack for 12rds. He made the weight but lets be real, if he fought a ww with superior defense we would get a bore fest so put him in with jmw or even mw and see what happens. PW showed the formula for beating the "beast" gotta have stamina!

He looked towards his corner after they had already thrown the towel in.

I saw him go to a knee and look over as Evangelista was up on the apron to stop the fight. Didn't see any quit in Cotto last night. If he was going to quit he would have done it much sooner.
