i had it six rounds to four for Cotto going into the 11th round.

i think that's a pretty fair scorecard.

I had an equal fight with both fighters taking 5 rounds each, then Margarito went and knocked him out in the 11th round. There's no way Cotto was winning after the 10th he was getting pounded.

That is exactly how i saw the fight..There is NO way cotto was winning THAT fight after the 10th round, I had the fight even going into the 11th round.

Honestly, i am shocked that so many people had Cotto in front going into the 11th.

Am overshocked there is NO cotto was ahead in that fight, And am glad to hear 2 judges had Margarito ahead and the other one score it a draw going into the 11th round.

I think a lot of people were buying into Lampley's terribly biased blow by blow commentary. Thankfully Lederman and the official judges had a clear view.

6-4 Cotto. Cotto started too fast, and didnt anticipate that Margarito would get stronger or more pressing as the fight went on. He was clearly outclassing Marg in the first half of the fight then in the seventh it went all wrong for Cotto. Cotto was still landing the cleaner harder shots, but Margarito's chin is remarkable, Cotto's is not as durable.

I noticed that they were putting vaseline in Cotto's nose, is that effective? It seems as though that would clog your nasal passage and hinder your breathing.

Fight is scored in rounds.

And Margarito had won the rounds back by the 11th.

He was either level or a point in front @ the time of stoppage by my approximate mental card.

Definitely not behind.

When they announce the judges scorecards, they announce the score up until the time of the stoppage, which mean up until the 10th round. They do not include the round where the fighter was stopped.
