One judge had it a draw and 2 had Margarito in front.
That doesn't make sense to me, because all I saw was Margarito copping Cotto's left punch all night.

Fight is scored in rounds.

And Margarito had won the rounds back by the 11th.

He was either level or a point in front @ the time of stoppage by my approximate mental card.

Definitely not behind.

The judges scorecards looked the way they did because they saw how Cotto kept reacting to Marg's body shots. Judges will overlook a guy getting outlanded and even hit clean if his opponent starts to fold up every time he's whacked.

Well, seeing your replies, it seems that most had Cotto in front, with a few calling it even prior to the stoppage, but I really think Cotto kind of let the fight slip from him, because from what I saw , was Margarito eating a lot of leather from Cotto.

yea that's a good point you make, because Cotto at times seemed to be getting rocked from the few punches that Margarito landed on him
