    The Number One Welter?

    Who is it?
Paul Williams or Antonio Margarito, Williams beat Margarito and lost to Quintana then came back to demolish Quintana in the first round, Margarito after losing to Williams beat both Cintron (again) and then Cotto.

The number 1 spot at welterweight is vacant until they have a rematch for me.

Williams should fight Cotto while Tony fights De La Hoya. Then Tony vs winner of Cotto/Margarito

Rematch to decide. I'd rather see Tony fight De La Hoya but Oscar wants not part of Tony after that display.

Tony by far. It is the same issue as the Campbell-Diaz fight. Diaz was considered the best and he was undefeated, and the grizzled veteran took that spot by outworking the younger man. That be like saying you should bring back Robbie Peden and putting him next to Campbell in the list of top lightweights. Back to the subject, Tony is the best welter until someone beats him at that.

I think it's fair to say a rematch would decide. Considering that Williams was able to get the decision over Tony in the first go around. Margarito was a man determined last night. I never once saw a lick of discouragement on his face.
