Cotto was flawed, Floyd has no flaws. Floyd will beat Margs easily...

I like Margs a lot. But one thing people are totally missing is Floyd's speed.
You can't catch him. Ask DLH who's faster than Margarito.
And Floyd can sit in the pocket and make Margs miss and get him frustrated.
Cotto is not slick per se. Floyd is. Ridiculously fast and slick.
Believe me, I would root for Margs from Round 1, but I am not dumb enough to think Margs would walk him down.
Floyd loves the come forward guys because his speed negates their advantages. He would potshot and get out, throw 6 punches and get out.
It would be Tex Cobb versus Larry Holmes.
Try boxing a guy a ton faster than you when you can't cut off the ring.
It's not fun.
It wouldn't be fun for Margs but I'd be praying for him to catch Floyd if Floyd got careless.Comment

He did fine until he stopped, and when you get tired, you stop punching, but you never let up on defense. Those triple left uppercuts busted Cotto's nose. The one thing you have to do when you rest is use defense. That never stops even when you stop punching. Cotto used so much power, he was tired and couldn't defend himself. He fought a dumb fight. Jermainbe Taylor did the same against Pavlik, fought a dumb fight. But when it is all said and done, Pav and Margs fought smart fights.Comment

Cotto was real good of every aspect of boxing. He has good power, a good chin, good boxing ability , good defense, and good ring generalship. Margarito took him out of his element. That would never happen to FLoyd. He isn't going to leave his element that is why most fans don't enjoy watching him because he is so dam good. The only way Marg beats Floyd is the same way he beat Cotto at his game. Floyd won't allow that to happen. Cotto was winning 4 or 5 out of the first 6 rounds untill he wanted to trade with Tony and stay on the ropes. Floyd would never let that happen.Comment

He had the heart, not the skill. When any boxer has had enough, unless you have been in that ring getting pounded on for 11 rounds, nose bleeding, cut, and hurt to the body, never question a man's heart. Good post.Comment

Floyd KO's Hatton and all of a sudden he's the next coming of Tyson! LOL. Floyd will not stay in the pocket long enough, nor commit to his punches enough in order to KO either Cotto or Marg.
What's so confusing? Marg is a slow plodding puncher. Floyd is to fast to let Margarito corner him, or back him into the ropes so that he can unleash punches. Floyd also knows that he couldnt KO Margo with a bat! Therefore, he will resort to his one, done, and run routine. It will be a UD.
All the **** you have talked, and now realizing that your boy is not the fighter he was believed to be.
I have been saying it all along.Comment
