Cotto hit Margs at will, but never hurt him. Cotto's defense was horrible tonight. Margarito couldn't even walk through Clottey, and we remember Merchant saying, "Clottey ain't no Cotto lol. Floyd has too much skill and heart to lose to Margs. He walked thought a small Cotto. It is a good win, and Margs kept trucking like I said he would, but he could never beat Floyd ever. He dosn't have enough skill. If Margs doesn't fight Williams, he isn't a true champion. He should now gain revenge, but I would understand if hewants to milk the title a bit. Margs can't beat Floyd. Tonight's fight showed you this. Cotto fans, your worst nightmare has arrived lol.

Cotto's biggest mistake was no body punching. He wanted no parts of Margs on the inside. Margs 2 fisted attack was better than Cotto's one fisted attack. At the end of the 10th, Cotto was done. Cotto lost the same way he beat everyone else. He got ran over like truck. Cott may be done at this level like Miranda is done. My friends say Cotto quit. Arm chair fans lol. It was a good fight, but Margs is not on Floyd's level.

I will say this for the upteenth time.....Cotto cannot got to the body against Marg because he would have to stand in front of him and let his hands down to punch exposing his chin even more.

There's a reason that Cotto wasn't standing in front of Marg's and doing that, he would have gotten KO'd even sooner.

I used to think that Mayweather would just box circles around Marg's but now I'm not so sure. The reason I say that is because I think Mayweather's people saw something in Marg's they didn't like. They know Margs is too big and too strong for him, in that there's no doubt.

But I think they saw a relentless style that maybe even Mayweather couldn't avoid all night long. I think DLH should have employed that style, to just keep coming forward and put himself in the line of Mayweather's punches no matter what...but he failed to do that and IMO was to cautious.

I think turning down 8 million to fight Marg's says a lot about what the Mayweather camp thought of Marg's.

I think someone like Marg, with his power/ invulnerability combo poses quite a risk to Mayweather, requiring a tactically perfect mistake free fight from Floyd. Floyd doesn't want to be getting hit by Margarito at all.

There's no doubt he wouldn't want to get hit by Margarito consistently because if he did it would end badly for him but I think he's fast enough and accurate enough to not get caught too much by Margarito.
