He has no problem fighting Mora but if he fights Tony, the Mexicans will turn on him?

his chin i consider solid at 147 now. it was just margs night. i just hope cotto is not ruined after this. sometimes 1 fight can do it......
I agree with you, he was worn down by Margarito. With respect to his chin, being KTFO isn't the right measuring stick. He has been rocked on several occasions, even Max Kellerman stated that aside from his talents, what gives his fights an air of drama, is the possibility that he might get hurt and what would a guy like Margarito do to capitalize if he did get you hurt? I firmly believe that Cotto may suffer long lasting effects from this fight. In a way, what he normally does to his opponents, beating them up, is essentially what happened to him tonight, albeit competitively. He took a knee twice and as one journalist put it, for his next fight he better find a good psychologist.

If I had to fight someone in the street I'd pick the much smaller guy too.

DLH doesn't want that Mexican resentment again if he beats him. BUT I have too much Margarito wearing down DLH in the late rounds ala Cotto fight, thats what he is afraid of.

He wont grant that opportunity an aging Julio gave him. And DLH says the Mexicans will hate him if he fights another Mexican? I guess they hate Julio too.
Great ****en post. Reminds me of Chavez interview he gave on radio a few weeks ago. But instead of using Margarito he named his son and said almost the same words you used. "lets see him go up against a young fighter(in Jr) lets see how he likes being the old guy going up aginst the new kid on the block and see how he comes out of the fight" Delahoya definetly has to give Margarito his shot, even he said so and now he's backing out thats a ***** move.

Delahoya once said, that he needs and wants that toe to toe bloody fight, the fight where he has to dig deep in every round well here is that fight vs. Margarito and now he don't want it, very surprising.

                Margarito stil has them scared!
