How does Pacman bring more money to the table if Tony's PPV numbers are higher 400k?

The perfect scenario was Cotto winning and De La Hoya fighting him for the pride of Mexico in his last fight. That would have been even bigger than Cotto-Margarito. But now if he fights Margarito even if he wins it would be Chavez all over again where the Mexican fans turn on him.

He can always say that he didnt want Margarito because he is a fellow Mexican. Besides he is too much of a ***** to consider fighting Margarito now.. Oscar can be a lot of things, but one thing he aint is ******. He knows taking Cotto now while he is vulnerable is perferct chance of him winning his last fight, while still being a better sell and more acceptable than a fight with Pac..
            **************************************************

get real. even oscar's not ****** enough to try and sell the public a fight against a guy who just got the **** beat outta him, for his final fight.........

and yea, cotto is beatable. so is everybody. the question is, do you really think oscar can continuously take shot after shot, eat 'em like pancakes, and keep coming forward, with unstoppable pressure, and slowly pick cotto apart until there's nothing left??? ala antonio margarito???

all this fight confirmed is that dlh won't be fighting cotto, he sees what its going to take to beat him, and the guy just got the **** beat outta him.........

contrary to popular belief, i DO think there's an outside shot dlh faces margarito. that's the fight.........................

Oscar can say whatever he wants about not fighting Mexicans. He knows he has a beating coming. Beating Pacquiao will be good for his wallet but do nothing for his overrated legacy. Just go away already Oscar.

                Here, here.
He didn't have any problems beating Mexican legends before did he?
                I guess he does now.
He's been clogging up boxing for a while. You know it's bad when Abraham calls him out, Pac calls him out, everyone calls him out.

He's driving the train and he shouldn't be.

And he won't fight Puerto Ricans now because his wife is Puerto Rican.
                  How about Paul Williams then?
I am sure Paul would go for one of his goofy catchweight scenarios

First oscar didn't want to fight puerto ricans because of his wife now he doesn't want to fight mexicans because his people will turn on him?.....BS. The only fights that make sense are mora (who seems to be rematching forrest) or margarito, thats it. They can fight in L.A. and it will be huge. Sure oscar can fight pac, at the risk of bein called a *****. BTW i am a big de la hoya fan.

Oscar is no longer a factor. He even knows his skills are diminishing. No real surprise he decides to side step Margarito. DLH would definitely need to retire after this though.
