I had Cotto ahead by 2 rounds I think.

Yeah, thats more like it. Some people had Cotto way ahead like wrap. Which is crazy. Cotto landed alot don't get me wrong, but when ur taking those triple uppercuts to the face, left/right hook to the body and show signs of almost dropping then u ain't winning that round.

well the offical judges had margo up on 2 cards and a draw on 1 so yea margo was winning

margarito winning by 3 rounds. its simple guys come on. i dont care if cotto was outboxing margarito. margarito was really hurting cotto, and margarito was not affected by cottos punches. every round margarito would hurt cotto even in the first round. cotto had not a slight chance even if it went 12 rounds. even the judges had margo ahead. get over it. margarito is the best out there. he has fighters retiring (mayweaher), beating undefeated fighters (cotto and cintron), and has fighters running from him (delahoya, mayweather, mosley) come on now. its the truth!!!!

What you are effectively saying there is that whoever throws the hardest punch in the round wins the round.

Please re watch the second round, Cotto obviously lost that round. He had his bell rang. Those body shots put a hurting on him for the remainder of the fight, which is why he was in flight not fight mode.

In the words of Bobby Chyz who would you rather be at the end of the round. I had it 6-4 in favor of Cotto, but Cotto was taking a beating(all though a draw was justifiable at the time). This fight is a lot like Taylor-Chavez, one guy was landing the better looking punches while his getting his ass kicked by the slower "harder" fighter.

Cotto control the fight till the 10, however he did not have the steam to ko margarito, reason, he made the mistake of staying on the ropes where he receives a lot of punches that took some power off him. according to the judges cotto was ahead till the 11 round when he was ko, by the same mistake, the ropes. in other wors the fight was cotto fight all the way. can margarito beat cotto again? no. i guess a lesson was learned. but remember loosing a fight is not the end of any boxer, he will be back.
