obsevations: Margo is an easy target to hit. he can be ko very fast. Cotto control the fight till the 10, however he did not have the steam to ko margarito, reason, he made the mistake of staying on the ropes where he receives a lot of punches that took some power off him. according to the judges cotto was ahead till the 11 round when he was ko, by the same mistake, the ropes. in other wors the fight was cotto fight all the way. can margarito beat cotto again? no. i guess a lesson was learned. but remember loosing a fight is not the end of any boxer, he will be back.

Margarito was up 96-94 on 2 cards and 95-95 on the third, with a two knock down round 11 he wins unless Cotto KOs him which is obvious that wasn't happening. Cotto doesn't have the technique to beat Margarito, Margarito's aggression, power, and pressure will not ever be stopped by Cotto. Margarito knew to go to the body early and it would happen the same again. Cotto couldn't get away plain and simple, he was almost on a bike.

Cotto was winning 10 until Margarito rocked him good and Cotto was just hanging on. You could make a case for either guy in 10 but Cotto was clearly hurt then.

I actually think it was that action at the end of 10 which ****ed Cotto up for round 11. Very difficult round to score.

Made very difficult because Cotto won the first 2 minutes of 10 pretty comfortably. Then the hammer came in.
