it's actually pretty pathetic that a fighter like margarito is the welterweight champion...im not a fan of cotto or margarito but at least cotto has boxing skill. margarito is sloppy and looks foolish with anybody who has skill. doesn't he have like 5 losses? and with that being said who has he fought really before cotto? if the no-name boxers can outpoint him imagine what a fighter like mayweather who defines perfection in boxing would do to him. he wouldn't need to knock him out, he'd just make him look foolish.

His chin was what won the fight. Sure he can take a shot but he was outboxed outclassed and looked horrible.

He Still didnt impress me because he doesnt have what Great fighters have and thats skill.

I always said Tonys durability and endurance would give him the win.I picked Tony to win by ko in the 10th but i was close.Was kinda surprised to see Tony beat the Best body puncher in boxing at his own game though.

i hope cotto does come back and out-box this guy...he can be beaten and has been beaten numerous times before...he's really nothing special...too bad no skilled boxers are in the division good enough to beat him.

He didn't look horribe at all. You have to remember that it was Cotto who he was in there against, who is a brilliant fighter with all around skills and punching power. Who would look impressive against him? Margarito slowly upped the pressure in each round and was starting to break Cotto down both physically and mentally with his consistant pressure. He impressed the hell out of me tonight and he is a lot better than i thought he was. Both fighters fought brilliant and much respect for both men for doing what they do.
