Froch IS an enigma... he hasn't fought great competition, but he's looked good in knocking them out (as he should). He keeps his hands low, looks slow, and throws from unorthodox angles... making him look like an easy target for a skilled boxer, yet if you listen to his fans he's actually a very skilled fighter and only fights like he does to toy with his opposition. He's strong, but on the flipside his own chin has not been tested much.
Given all the question marks, I'd be willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt against Taylor who may be coming in a little gunshy, but I think Taylor gets the edge considering Froch's past level of competition. He'll have to adjust to Taylor's speed and skill quickly if he wants to make a fight of it.
