I think Jermain wants an easy fight than he'll go for the title. His confidence wouldn't be too high coming off of 2 straight losses and a layoff. He should fight a contender than try for the belt.

I haven't seen Froch fight. If he's not that good then I guess Jermain could go right to the belt.

Will he face Froch? Nope, I don't think so, but I'm interested in hearing what the excuse will be.

Taylor should fight Froch. It should be a very easy night's work for him.

Ducking is a strong word considering Taylor has fought some top guys.

But he was certainly and openly going for an easier fight. Di Bella admitted as such. Risk/reward factor was more favourable fighting Lacy.

If this fight happens, Mijares and the ibf winner should be on the undercard. **** they should be fighting on HBO anyway, but HBO probably won't fork over the money. Hopefully they will.

people post like they know anything about Froch. ( a few in this thread)

I refuse to believe our friends across the pond know anything about him.

He is an enigma, nobody knows how good that **** is.

People say Froch has only fought bums... He's been ducked his whole career! He's never been giving the chance to fight a world class opponent because he's too great a risk... I see him doing great against Jermain Taylor, Taylor could be too complacent against Froch... Froch has accurate, quick punches and a lethal upper cut... He's got the tools to do a job against Taylor!

I can imagine a similar scenario with Witter-Bradley... Junior was too complacent and got sat on his arse, he made a mountain that was too high to climb and lost a split decision... Froch can be that under dog.

Hahaha, a former world champion doesn't "deserve a shot" at an untested 31 year old contender.

                      Funny stuff.
