If Maragrito loses is his career over?

We all know that boxing is about money. The more start power he can bring and if he brings a 0 into the fight the better. Pacman is now looking for the big money fights. Winky is a poor man trying to get rich but our prices himself.
We all know quite well that Margarito best PPV sales were around 30k which is quite good for a fighter of that magnitude.

The question is who will want to fight after this fight if he loses. He will become like a used whore. Beating him after Cotto and Willaims has will have no benefit for any fighter trying to get some recognition in the boxing world.

Williams won’t want a rematch nor will Cotto. Maybe Clottey might want a rematch; I don’t think Judah will want to fight him due to size. Where does his leave Margarito if he losses to Cotto.
Retirment or moving up to 154 and trying to start his career again in that weight class.

Just out of curiousity, why do people put so much weight on a fighter with 1 or 2 losses to top notch fighters?
No matter who loses tonight, one fighter will have to start rebuilding their reputation. But neither of them will be done as an eilte fighter unless they take a beating the likes of what Fernando Vargas took against Trinidad. Even then, they'll still have name recognition though.

I really believe if he loses he is finished in the WW division and might be looking to move up. It will be a sad day if he retires after thus fight if he loses.

Ahh I doubt it. Paul Williams beat him last year and it wasn't over. I think he could beat the winner of Judah-Clottey to get hs IBF title back.

It will be back to Friday Night Fights for a couple, and then fight the winner of Judah-Clottey.
