Ken Norton is not a great example because although he was big, he was more of a pressure fighter with an unorthodox crouching, cross-arm style which troubled Ali.
A better example would be the tall, jab and grab-style Ernie Terrell, although he reminds me more of a 6'6 John Ruiz or today's Wladimir without fast hands/big punching power. Ali handled him with ease, but Terrell is by no means Lennox Lewis.
There's really no way of knowing how Lewis handles Ali's speed, or how Ali handles Lewis' size because there are no similar match-ups to compare with.
Here's Ali vs Terrell. This is prime Ali.

Ali liked to flurry but his actual handspeed isn't much better than a Prime Lewis.
I'm leaning towards a Prime Lewis winning this bout, but Ali could pull off a win.

I don't think fighters of the caliber of Rachman or even McCall could've beaten Ali in his prime.Comment
