Former Soviet Union fighters are definitely dominating the heavyweight division after Lennox retired , hopefully that chap David Haye can change that.

They used to train/treat them like animals. They define the meaning of the word "opportunity" better than any fighters.Comment

much respect to the eastern european take over of the hw division. but in the same token, you cannot forget the luckiness of this new found domination. the hw division is merely a fraction of what it was in the past. guys like klitschko, chageav, ibragimov are lucky they don't have to deal with hw's the likes of Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Holmes, Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis.FORMER SOVIET UNION COUNTRY HAVE 7 FIGHTER IN RING MAGAZINE TOP 10 HEAVYWEIGHT.

the only fighter I can imagine right now that could bring that level of talent to the hw division is david haye. there is no question haye has the ability to take the hw division by storm but his chin is yet to be tested. but as jones was able to take flush punches from a hw and than get ko'd by 2 light heavyweights, I so to hope haye can withstand power punches better at hw than he did as a cruiser.Last edited by -Swizzy-; 07-26-2008, 01:03 AM.Comment
