If/When Miguel Cotto defeats Margarito , and does so in dominating fashion, he will be a present day dominating champion...He will have defended any title he has ever held, and defended it against the likes of Shane Mosley, Zab Judah, IF, Antonio Margarito, former champions Lovemore N'Dou, Ricardo Torres, DEmarcus Corley, Carlos Quintana, Paulie Malignaggi, Fringe contenders, Oktay Urkal, Randal Bailey and Victoriano Sosa.............

Maybe not a who's who, but what sticks out is the fact that he dominated nearly every competitor he's faced......Yes, hes had trouble in fights, been hurt, but the man wins, he gets off the deck and wins fights, he shows heart of what true champions are made of....

Im not very big a Miguel Cotto, but the bottom line is the man has had 32 lined up and 32 have fell down....some of his performances thus far have been great, Zab Judah and Mosley, his 2 biggest fights to date, he dominated Judah over 11 rounds, like noone has EVER done...And he showed enormous growth against Mosley, as he outboxed the boxer....Styles make fights, and tonights fights is one that should play right into Cotto's hands....He should dominate this fight, of course only time will tell, but overall skill doesnt always win fights, but in this case, I think it does......117-111 Miguel Cotto!!

One quick question a bit out of topic, If Cotto and Mayweather fight, and Cotto wins the fight what will you acknowledge Cotto as? and will you give all credit to Cotto for beating your fighter?
Now you see why I thought Cotto was overrated?

Great in a sense of being a dominating welterweight force --- but not able to transcend physical disadvantages in the way that signal true elite p4p greatness.

Miguel Cotto is a great fighter.

But not the degree of GREAT that the boricua hype machine have said he was.
