I do expect a really good fight, but this fight has been hyped up so much that anything short of the fight of the year would be somewhat of a disapointment.

It is another interesting aspect of this fight now to see if it meets or even exceeds expectation (I do not know if this is even possible).

if it's a slugfest it's going to meet expectations, but I hate when they advertise fights as "the fight of the year" because if casual fans see that and get let down, then we don't get anywhere. nobody advertised De La Hoya-Mayweather as the fight of the year, just the most important fight of the year. nobody expected that to be a great fight and it was even better than I thought it would be because Floyd stood and ****** with Oscar a few times

You cant enjoy ANY fight that doesn't have Mayweather in it.

how exactly did the dark knight exceed expectations? it was hyped for 2 years as the best superhero movie imaginable and ended up a lot like spider-man 3. too many villains and subplots plus they completely wasted two-face's character and didn't even have a joker that was like he is in the comics.

I remember Castillo-Corrales was hyped but not nearly to this extent. does anybody out there really think this fight has any chance of mirroring that fight? not saying it couldn't, but I think the fight may have reached unmeetable expectations at this point.

then again, Vazquez-Marquez was heavily hyped by people in the know and that was on its way to becoming a great, great fight until the nose stoppage. the 2nd and 3rd meetings certainly met expectations.
batman broke every record and most people think the movie is amazing so how is that a bad thing

just because people went and saw it doesn't mean it was amazing. it just means people went and saw it. it had tons of flaws, which I'd be happy to start listing here even though I probably shouldn't spoil it for others.

how do you know that two face is wasted? everyone seems to love the joker in this movie except for you even jack nicholson said that ledger had an amazing performance

That is the whole problem with The Dark Knight for me anyways.
