See your problem is you live in a dream world where boxing is a sport among gentlemen and everyone shakes hands and wants to split the money up evenly.

Listen youngster, it's a business. Fighters want to make the most money they can for as long as they can because you never know when your last fight will be.

Secondly, don't believe everything you read or hear. Most of the time, it's not the fighters that turn down fights or "Run" from someone, it's their managers. Fighters always want to fight, that's what they do. You just have to make smart business decisions in order to maximize your career. DLH, Tito and now Cotto is doing it.

Being smart money wise and decision wise as to who you will fight means the difference between a flash in the pants or longevity in this sport.

Pac isn't the draw, no matter how you cut it, DLH is. If Pac was the draw, then he would demand the rules, regulations and purse split, as he and many other's have done dozens of times in their fights.

He makes those demands because he is the man of the fight and they need him. They dont care what demands he makes as long as he gives them some chump change so why does he need to give them an even cut. I mean he fought Quartey and that got 570,000PPV buys. He fought Mayorga and that got 925,000 buys. He can fight anyone and make more money than any other fighter. You cant ask someone to make you rich while he gets nothing out of it.
