Well in theory I think 90% of the American Population thought that. I was not one of them. I didn't care for Lacy and still think he has a long way before he is anything special. But Joe made his career debut from Lacy. I gave him credit for that. Everyone talks about how great Joe is, dude was nothing until he fought Lacy, Kessler and Hop. But hey he destroyed a young "over hyped" "mini mike" left hook lacy. He did that for sure.

You cant hate on Toney for saying that Lacy would KO joe... Everyone was. He probably was like Joe who? To many Joe was just a euro bum that no one knew and had a career full nobodies taht be beat other than old man EUSTANK. So they just said Lacy would KO him. You cant hate on Toney for that. I think anyone that had any sense of boxing could look at Joe's "PRE" LACY career and say that. I did, I still do. Anything before Lacy is all irrelevant and means nothing.
