If he beats Paulie he should take on one of the other title holders and then fight Pac. if he losses to Paulie he should fight Witter or retire.

As for nearly getting stopped against Lazcano, i totally disagree mate, yes he took 2 great left hands but he was only stunned momentarily, at no point did he look like he was about to be stopped.
The Mayweather fight would take any boxer some getting over and Lazcano, whilst being at a decent level, was always going to be his "easy" comeback fight. He won a landslide UD, shame he couldnt get the KO.
Against Paulie he should be more hyped as its for his old title, the one he took from Kostya Tszyu. Paulie has looked far less than convincing in several of his last fights and i just dont think he is in Hattons class.
paulie wasnt stopped by cotto so i dont see hatton stopping him.i can see paule trying to emulate what floyd did in his fight winning on points. i was referring to round when lazcano had hatton in BIG trouble and he wasnt returning punches, then the ref stopped the action and let ricky tie his shoes.

LoL, i know the bit you mean, i still dont think Hatton was on teh verge of being stopped though.
Paulie is nothing like as good as Floyd and so i doubt if he would have the same success in outboxing Hatton ... BUT i did say i have a genuine dislike of the guy so that COULD be clouding my judgement somewhat, i really wanna se him get smashed up like 2 broken ribs style!!!!

I think it should go, personally in this order.

                  Malignaggi, Pacquiao, Witter.

Hatton should fight Malignaggi and then fight Pacquiao if he can get the fight. He would have a good chance to beat Manny and amongst casual fans at least, his stock would skyrocket.

After that I'd imagine he might want to coax Floyd out of retirement for a rematch, or failing that meet Oscar. Both fights would be bull**** though, so I wouldn't mind seeing him in with Cotto, even though he'd lose.

Alternatively he could just beat Malignaggi, Bradley and Witter.

                      after malignaggi...

fight these 3 (since you said pick 3) in any order:
                      pacquiao
                      cotto
                      de la hoya.

that would be the best 3 to finish off a career...win or lose really.

however i see malignaggi getting past hatton.
