Cotto vs. Margarito: The Pre-War Report Card

the last 2 articles have been pro-margarito ( healiners yesterday and today).

but what gets me, is where he says he's never been sold on cotto as a "special fighter." he's not perfect, but he always wins, even if he has to go to a plan B or C. that's special.

then he kind of knocks cotto for fighting shane mosley b/c he was 36. are u serious? how old was hopkins when he beat the **** outta trinidad??? bout 36, i reckon.

bottom line is, im not SURE cotto is going to win, its going to be a war, and really, its going to come down to whoever wants it. when guys write artilces, its always better in my opinion to be objective, but neutral at the same time....................but i guess dude was just giving his opinion.

personally, i dont think margarito's "power" will affect cotto, if cotto loses its b/c he will gas out. i think margarito gets waaaaaaaayyyy too much credit, for beating kermit cintron twice......

100% agreed. People do forget Bhop was 36 going on 37 when he beat tito and was 40 when he beat oscar. To me age ant nothing but a number as long as you take care of yourself. Mosley that fought cotto that night would beaten almost every top 10 147 pound fighter

Lets not forget Cintron never had good defense, go back to estrada bout where he was getting hit with some good shots.
