  • I wanted Naseem to go away and get re-set for rematch with Barerra. I think Hamed realized he'd lost his committment to the game and just wasn't ready to face Barrera again, or finally agree to a Marquez matchup, which would require a complete re-dedication to the game. It was Hamed's mental weakness and lack of work ethic that undid him, which is stuff that only Great Fighters possess. It's not like Hamed was old and getting outgunned, he simply gave up, nothing more than gave up.

Yeah, can't deny the guy held some belts and should be referred to as Champ, it's afact. But, it's also fact that he demonstrated he lacked the skills required to be considered Great.

Anybody who calls Hamed great is clueless.

I suppose if you liked conventional and highly technical boxing skills, you couldn't love Hamed.

              • Hamed did have Boxing skills but he had an unconventional style

the uppercut that he dropped Tom Johnson with is a good illustration of the skills he had step back wait for Johson to lead **** finish him off with a peach of an uppercut

Hamed was easier to hit when he he was coming foward one of the main reasons for that was because he fell in love with his power and he always wanted to put a show on ,he was not so easy to hit when he was counter punching and making his oponents lead to him

lol, I liked Hamed because he had talent and entertained people. I liked his movements in the ring. The reason I like Jones (Prime jones) because his movements. He would hit you with punches that you wouldn't even expect. I thought he was an awesome fighter that had so much potential. I wouldn't say he is an ALL TIME great but He is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES... I was disappointed when he left the game.

I share the same list with you on terms of favorite fighters.

Naseem is one my personal favorites.
I was just disappointed he didn't continue his legacy after the MAB fight.
